Wall hanging Corner Shelf, American Victorian, walnut, carved and incised, circa 1880, three tiered thick veneered shelves with rounded beveled edge, grape leaf pattern, original finish has been cleaned and waxed, excellent detailing, sound and solid, 27" in length, extends 9" from the wall. Top shelf shows telltale marks of a vase water mark and lifting of veneer. The original design of this corner shelf was that it was collapsible for ease of transport. The three shelves are now stabilized with screws and the back is reinforced. See photos. A few scratches and scrapes but original finish is better than refinished! Excellent detailing and condition.
