Antique American glass Apothecary Bottle or jar for P.CAPSICI with mint glass recessed label. This jar is referred to as large or wide mouth jars. Bottle is 9 3/4" tall, 3 3/4" diameter. Mint condition, no cracks, no chips. Glass is clean and clear. One of 40 Apothecary jars listed, see last photo for a few of them.

A word of caution, any jar with product or is cloudy [ Called Sick Glass ] will never clean up to the condition of my jars. Take it from someone who knows and has tried every cleaning product known to man including denture cleaner.

Jar is mold blown glass, marked W.T. Co. (Whitall Tatum Co., of Millville, New Jersey. In business from 1875 - 1901). Jar is clean, has original glass stopper. This is the last of a 600+ apothecary jar collection we have sold. The 1991 Drugstore and Soda Fountain Antiques reference book values for these glass label jars was $150 - $175.
