Leather bound fly fishing creel or basket with original shoulder harness. We have other creels listed in mint Unused condition. No damage to the hand woven wicker leather and stitches or shoulder harness. This creel is 14" long, 5 1/2" wide at the base, 7 1/2" tall, with handle it is 9 1/4" tall. See photo for maker's mark. Creel is very clean inside and out. All leather has a fresh coat of French leather wax. The measure printed on the leather is up to 7", it is located on the back of the lid. See photos.

We have a large selection of creels listed on our site. All are in excellent to mint condition. We do not sell damaged creels or ones with the bottoms rotted out. In the past it was a common practice to place wet moss inside of the creel, this kept the trout fresh. For this reason the vast majority of creels have severe damage and crumble when handled. This is not the case with creels that we sell.
