Split bamboo fly fishing rod, made by Horrocks Ibbotson, Utica New York, Governor Model, 4 piece, two tip, 9 Ft. 5 - 6 wt. with original rod sock and old non original tube. Assembled length is 9 Ft. with either tip. The flamed bamboo has no cracks or splits, very good finish. All four sections are straight. The sections fit properly and pop when pulled apart. The German Nickel Silver ferrules are not cracked or split. All guides and wraps are excellent, as is the down locking reel seat. The cork handle is cleaned and appears to have been sanded down to fit the grip of a smaller hand, possibly a woman or child. No issues, this is a very usable rod, possible fishable. See photos.
