Bamboo fly fishing rod, 8 1/2 ft., 3 piece, 5 wt, restored to new condition. Assembled length is 8 1/2 ft. All three sections of split bamboo were born and raised together. All sections are straight and original length. Rod comes with a non original rod sock. This rod is very fishable and excellent for dry fly presentation. The rod was refinished, all new burgundy wraps, all new stainless snake, tip top guides and agate stripper guide and hook keeper. No delamination, no cracks in the original ferrules. Cork on the handle is very clean with no damage. The down locking reel seat shows no evidence of a reel ever being mounted. The ferrules fit properly and pop when pulled apart. No negatives. All of my rods are shipped is a hard card-board tube or box, no excessive shipping charges.
