Shelf, American antique, Eastlake Victorian, walnut, 18 5/8" in length, 12 1/2" across, shelf is 12 1/2" by 6 1/8", excellent original finish, deep geometric incising. This would make an wonderful clock shelf, which is how I have used it. There is no damage , it is near mint, The original design of this shelf made it possible for it to fold down flat. By simply unscrewing the two screws on top of the shelf and two in the shelf support arm it can be disassemble. Circa 1870. This shelf is in excellent condition, next to impossible to find without breaks. Less than 1/8" tip of top left is missing, so small it does not show on the photo. There is an old repair that can only be seen on the backside. I am mentioning these minor issues simply for accuracy, no one likes surprises See photos.
