Fly fishing reel, solid brass, one of many listed. German DAM in mint condition. Marked DAM on the front plate, Effzett 495 on the back plate and Made In Germany on the unaltered reel foot. Size: 2 3/8" diameter, spool is 1 1/2" wide, reel foot is 2 1/2" long. Reel has strong on/off click, original counter balanced brass handle and hard rubber knob. The solid brass reel was polished to a mirror finish and then sealed showing off the beautifully machined plates. This is a very well made fly reel and a difficult reel to find.
