Antique cameo bar pin, circa prior to 1885, 2 1/4" by 1/2", hollow gold top and bottom fitted together. Top has raised beading and relief design. Center cameo is oval shape, 3/8" by 5/8", light grey/pink background, black portrait bust with exquisite very finely detailed features. Cameo depicts head, shoulders and a necklace is very clearly visible around the neck. The pin is straight and extends beyond the bar pin itself by 1/8". The hinge is "tube" and catch is "C". .
