Antique garnet ring, 9 carat gold, size 5, deep red color "pyrope garnets" which were popular in Victorian jewelry. The ring has a high gallery, carved and cut-out. There are three large faceted garnets, oval shape( large center stone is 1/4" by 1/8", two side garnets are 1/8" by 3/8"), all stones are open back. Shank is split and ring band is wide.
