Antique garnet and pearl flower cluster ring, early Victorian(prior to 1850), 9 carat gold, size 7. The flower cluster is 6 garnets, facet cut, prong set, with closed back. In the center is a single white pearl, round, prong set and with good luster. The shank is scrolled. Refer to photos. No damage or repairs. Garnets are the birthstone for January. They were used extensively in Victorian era jewelry and were thought to have great curative powers.
