Serving dish in luster with bamboo handles, circa 1920 Japanese lusterware, Art Nouveau floral design, flowers are hand painted with two clusters on either side of the dish. Dish is 9 1/4" in diameter. Border is tan luster with scrolling and connecting leaves and branches. Colors are all typical of this period, lanvin blue, tango orange, chrome yellow and forest green. Flowers and design is outlined in think black lines. The handles are designed to be detachable. One arm of the bamboo is split from age. It is still sturdy. No chips, cracks, breaks or repairs to the porcelain. See photos. Backstamp is block format, black letters Made in Japan. We have over 180 pieces and sets of quality antique porcelain listed.
