Antique hatpin, hat pin is 9" long, gold gilt, circa 1900 - 1908, Art Nouveau. The head of the hat pin is 1 1/4" by 7/8", oval reposse. The design is Oriental influenced, Geisha style musician in the center with lilies one the left side and palms on the right. The musician is positioned above a flower cluster at the base. Gold is in excellent condition, brilliant with no wear. The shaft is straight, attachment to the head is via knopped collar. Guaranteed old.
