Railroad oil can, tin Vermont primitive, circa turn of the century, purchased from a railroad collector. Oil can is 7 7/8" diameter, stands 19" tall. Handle is in excellent condition, has original wood stopper, a few dents in two areas. The solder seams are sound and there are no splits or breaks. Three pin holes in the bottom. Rocking horse, antique child's wood toy in original paint. 8" long, 1 1/2" wide, stands 5 3/4" tall. There is a platform for a rider and a hole is drilled into the head most likely for the reins. Cast iron bale scale complete with original pear shaped counter weight, sometimes referred to as a beam scale. No damage or repairs. Scale is 16 1/2" long, the pear shaped weight is 3" long. The scale's beam has graduated marks for weighing up to 10 pounds. Originally there was advertising along the beam but it is no longer readable. Circa 1900 home accessory. Hat rack eight point deer antler buck rack, 16" span, mounted on a wood board that is shaped like a shield and painted white. Total height mounted is 24". Backboard is 9" by 7". There is also a horse shoe mounted, 5 1/2" by 6". Markings imprinted are hard to read "4H Giant Grip." Points are perfect, no breaks or repairs. Some of the black paint is flaking. I seems that a projectile was to be fired from the cannon via a mouse trap launcher. Trap is by Lovell Mfg. Co., of Erie, Pa. Launch is 6" long, by 2 1/4" wide, cannon extends 5". Sleigh bell, single cast brass bell, antique turn of the century. Bell is 2 7/8" tall, 3 3/16 diameter at the base. Handle is leather strap, 4 1/2" long. Condition of the leather is good, stitching is strong and forged rivets are secure. There are two aged cracks that do not go completely through. Gong has good tone, one gong arm arrest is missing.
