Greetings and Welcome to Dragonfly Antiques!

A bit about myself and the items I carry....I have been buying & selling for over 30 years

Growing up I was exposed to an outstanding collection of Continental Antiques belonging to my Grandmother,I was the lucky little girl who had tea parties with a Mary Gregory Cordial Set!

As well as being exposed to my Mothers collection of Americana and Primitives
I had the best of both worlds!

Naturally I gravitated to Antiques and eventually took the leap into selling the items I knew and loved!
I started out with a small brick and mortar booth and it bloomed into multiple booths and eventually my own Antique Mall!

I also did shows and markets around the Southeast in Georgia,Alabama,Arkansas,North Carolina,Indiana,Ohio,Oklahoma,Virginia,Antique Week in Texas and Antique Week in Nashville!

In 1998 a Tornado destroyed my Mall and sent me home and out of the marketplace

It was during that time I started to get sick with strange symptoms that were misdiagnosed by my local Doctors.
Finally in 2005 I was properly diagnosed at The Cleveland Clinic with an extremely rare form of autoimmune vasculitis known as Takayasu's Arteritis a disease with no known cause or cure!
That same year I had a stroke and in January 2006 I underwent major surgery to prolong my life and here I am!

Back to the business I know and love!
Miracles do happen!

The Dragonfly represents "Renewal after Hardships" it is a fitting name I think!
