Happy Indiana Glass Collecting!
This is a set of four sherbets or dessert cups made by Anchor Hockings. The pattern is called Boopie. The Boopie pattern is very similar to Imperial's Candlewick pattern. These would go well with any Candlewick collection. Anchor Hocking produced the Boopie pattern from about 1950 to 1970.
These belong to my Mother. In fact, I think I bought these for her in the 1960's. We are quite the glass collecting family. Problem is, every cupboard, closet, shelf and storage area is full of glass. Having too much glass has never stopped us from buying more. It is time to part with some of these treasures.
These are AWESOME. Great for puddings and desserts. The stem is ribbed and fifteen little glass balls make up the pedestal foot. Very elegant for entertaining yet inexpensive enough for every day use.
These measure about 3 1/2 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches across the top. They are in perfect condition because my Mother never let us use them. They sat in the china cabinet for years and years............These would be a great addition to any Boopie or Candlewick collection.
