Happy Indiana Glass Collecting!
This is a gold trimmed, handled nappy made by Indiana Glass in 1917. The pattern is called Star Band or Bosworth.
This pretty crystal nappy measured 5 1/4 inches across excluding the handle and stands 2 inches tall on it's starred base. The scalloped top is trimmed in gold. Some of the gold has faded over the years but still is very pretty for being 80 plus years old. The pattern is a band of stars with panels below the star band. The bottom has a large starburst design. There is no damage. No chips, cracks or repairs.
I have included an original Butler Brothers catalog ad for this pattern from 1917. Please take note of the nappy pictured. This vintage nappy would be a wonderful addition to any Indiana Glass collection.
