Early 1900's Opal Crucifix Candlestick - Imperial Glass

This is an opal candlestick holder made in the early 1900's. These were made from 1906 to 1921. These Crucifix holders were made by Cambridge Glass, McKee Glass and Imperial Glass. I believe mine was made by Imperial Glass.

This is made in what was called opal glass. "Opal" glass was the first milk glass. This has a slight "tannish" tint to the glass and glows yellow under a blacklight. It is heavy and ultra smooth like marble or slate, very cool!

This beauty measures 10 inches tall, There is a small flea bite at the opening where the candle fits. This is not a chip. It is a very small manufacturer's flaw. There is no damage or wear. It would be a rare and beautiful addition to any glass collection.
