SALE Snuff Bottle of Peking Glass with Red Overlay or Cameo

This is one of the first glass forms of snuff bottles to become popular. The basic bottle was dipped in glass of a different color to eclipse the inner color. Sometimes more than one layer of color was added. Then the carvers began the cutting process. This overlay represents, in red, a dragon on one side and a foo dog on the other. The stopped stone appears to be amber, or at least amber color. Spoon is intact and the bottle is 3" high by 2" wide and in excellent condition.
