Exquisite Antique 1876 Centennial Lace Sampler in Frame

This is an Exquisite Antique 1876 Centennial Lace Sampler in Frame. The entire piece is 45" by 31". The textile alone is 37 1/2" by 23 1/2". It features 15 squares with border. The top center square features an eagle. Two blocks in the second row feature initials (S & M) and SJC). The third row center block features a shield with the words Sans Changer. The fourth row features two blocks with the date 18-76. Unsure of the image in the middle block of the bottom row. The sage green fabric under the sampler may be silk. Frame is contemporary. Textile is guaranteed authentic and antique. it shows some slight age discoloration around the edges. Frame is "antiqued" silver tone. Overall in excellent condition. This may not be mailed outside of the USA if in frame. Mail cost will be high if sent in frame. It looks as if this piece might be removed from the frame and mail for much, much less. Purchaser may choose.
