This is an exquisite large Antique Ornate Germany Sterling Silver Repousse Bowl. It is 10 5/8" across and the rim stands 1 1/4" tall. Weight is 13 ounces (368 grams). Design features an ornate repousse band of flowers around the upper rim. The edges are scalloped also with an ornate outer band. Hallmarked with Germany crescent moon and crown, 925, and makers mark (we could not identify). Shows just the very slightest wear consistent with age. Overall very, very good condition.

Features King's hourglass motif with crest. Hallmarked as shown. We believe the maker is William Eaton and date letter for 1824. In very good estate condition.

The center features a shield "Ferre Va Ferme" (motto for the surname Ferrar). Has the image of a horseshoe between two wings. A couple of very tiny pinpoint dings otherwise in very, very good condition.
