Purchased in Colorado during the late 1960's from an Indian tourist location in Colorado Springs. Very heavy pottery often referred to as blackware. Simple elegant lines created by hand carving around the sides. There are a couple tiny nicks along the scalloped edges which were most likely made during the carving. Nice unsigned sample for the collector of Native American pottery. Weighs nearly one pound. Measures 3 ½-inches wide and 2 ½-inches tall. Opening is 2 ½.

Among the buttons in my coffee can collection were these five vintage belt buckles. One green plastic rectangle measures 1 1/4 by 1 inch and four mother of pearl: round one is 1 inch, oval one is 1 ½ by 1 inch, large rectangle is 1 3/8 x 15/16 and the small rectangle is1 inch by 3/4 The large rectangle appears to have been burned on one corner, but I believe this is natural. I can see no damage to it. Very nice for the beginning collector of vintage sewing supplies.
