Johnson Brothers Baroda Oval Platter Large 14" early 1900s

A beautiful antique Johnson Bros. large oval scalloped edge platter featuring dainty pink flowers motifs with a light blue ribbon scrolls, pale green fern foliage on ivory white base, handles trimmed in gold. These pieces have the look of Limoges florals and some of the vintage Homer Laughlin patterns. Marked with Johnson Bros. England green stamp and two impressed marks I can not read. The mark dates to the late 1800s early 1900s.

This is the 14 1/2 inches by 10 1/2 inches platter, it is in excellent condition, no cracks, chips or repairs. Slight if any use marks, loving used, shows pattern loss to the blue ribbon in places. Marked with Johnson Bros. England green stamp and two impressed marks I can not read. I also have the med sized Platter and Covered Vegetable Bowl in this pattern listed in my shop.

The Johnson Bros. located in Staffordshire England established their pottery in 1883. They produced earthenware and ironstone. The mark dates to the late 1800s early 1900s. Packed shipping weight for this item will be 3 1/2 lbs. B-2025
