Vintage Delft Turquoise and Gold Ashtray & Vase

Lovely ashtray with Dutch shoes and bud vase with unusual turquoise Delft earthenware base color with hand painted abstract designs, done in antique gold, looks rather like tortoise shell to me. Delft is a tin-glazed pottery that has been made since the 17 th C. Usually blue decorations on white, it sometimes has colors - as these 2 beautiful turquoise and gold pieces. Circa 1960's.Marked Hand Painted Delft -Holland, inside of a gold circle.

Vase is 6" tall and 3 & 1/4" across. Ashtray is 5" across and 1 & 3/4" tall See my other listings this week for more of these lovely pieces. Condition is very good on the vase, gold (brass)? could use cleaning inside. Ashtray has damage that has been badly repaired,although it displays well.
