Never used Early (1870's) 3 SCH 243 & 1 SCH 243b multi-floral series pattern on blank 9. A unique different shaped form for the serving bowls.
These 2 Luncheon Plates are 7&7/8 inches, one has the Yellow roses and the other the Pink roses . Colors in this set are 243 Pink-246a Blue and 243b Yellow.
Good unused condition, no cracks, use marks or repairs. Front of plates show no damage, but this lot needs repair, was displayed and fell during last earthquake and each has a chip on the back edge, picture is of the largest chip. Priced accordingly.
Made in France by the Haviland family, with the green underglaze mark H&Co over L and the red overglaze decorator mark of "Haviland & Co. Limoges" dates this set from 1876 to 1889.
