Exquisite French Limoges by the Haviland Co.as you can see from the pictures, the pristine white background, graceful scallops have gorgeous raised embossed designs accented with the dainty roses done in beautiful colors of pink to deep rose, accentuated with vividly colored brown trailing branches and blue gray leaves, the floral border pattern spills over onto the center of this lovely open vegetable or serving bowl, pattern is also repeated on the outside. Never used Early (1870's) multi-floral series pattern on blank 9. A unique different shaped form for the serving bowls

This bowl is 10 inches long 7&7/8 inches wide and stands 1&7/8 inches tall. This is one piece in a china cabinet set I will be listing this week. Excellent unused condition. This has a factory mark on the bottom inside rim the bowl sits on, has what may also be from the factory a tiny ding also on the same bottom ring. Neither can be seen unless you turn the bowl upside down.

Made in France by the Haviland family, with the green underglaze mark H&Co over L and the red overglaze decorator mark of "Haviland & Co. Limoges" dates this set from 1876 to 1889.
