This is a charming 1930's-40`s tab handled covered casserole, a cream color, decorated with fruit, foliage and dainty all over flower motif`s, on both the base and matching cover. Colors are bright, cheerful and intact, has gold trim on the handles, edge and top knob. Marked on the bottom in gold : Oven Proof Oven to Table Ware 22 KT Gold

Casserole is 7 inches in diameter not counting the handles and stands 4&1/2 inches to the top of the knob.Condition is excellent, no cracks,chips or stains, does have crazing, due to age, bottom edge of lid has a rub spot, look`s like it was slid across a shelf. A wonderful piece from the 30's-40`s for your vintage kitchen or collection.Packed shipping weight will be 4 lbs.
