This lovely Lacy Dewdrop or "Jewel and Dewdrop" milk glass compote, painted blue, is by the Phoenix Glass Co. ca 1890, according to the Newbound Encyclopedia of Milk Glass, page 50. Compote with its graceful scalloped edge stands 6 & 1/8 inches tall and is 6 & 1/4 inches in diameter. This vintage milk glass piece has a lovely translucent look to the top scallops.
