I am not certain exactly of the use of this piece, looks to be a slip or nightdress and part of an estate doll lot to be listed, lightweight material with exquisite embroidery and lace.

It measures 13" length and 12" from arm to arm, the only damage I can see is that it needs a tiny button replaced to back side otherwise excellent condition as shown.
