Beautiful and rare to find antique daguerreotype case of papier mache with inlay of mother of pearl and hand painted red and gold flowers. Inside the lovely old photo, and traditional gold gilt metal framing. Notice also the gold hand painted trim surrounding both the interior sides, very lovely. The clasp does not hold well anymore, and the binding a little wobbly but the exterior just beautiful.
