$57 USDHand Painted Nippon Floral Plate

This plate is 6 1/4" across and is beautifully hand painted in yellows, greens and browns. There is some amount of wear on the paint areas, but is very well crafted. The outer edge has raised decoration on it. The backstamp has a cloud like design with a asterisk like shape in the center of it. It also has "NIPPON hand painted" on the stamp. I have 2 of these plates, and the price is for each. There are no chips or cracks on either one.

These are 2 cloverleaf shaped small dishes that are 2 3/4" top to bottom, 3" across, and 3/4" deep. There are sweet little pink flowers and green leaves and a raised stippled (moriage) decorations around the top edge. Blue stamp with M in wreath, hand-painted Nippon. This is listed in the Collectors Guide to Nippon Porcelain on page 207. 2000 value listed as $65-$90 each. No chips or cracks.

This is a absolutely gorgeous dish, with the green wreath stamp on the bottom, and hand painted, Nippon. The painting looks like a fine oil painting with its scenic view, even though it is really painted on the porcelain. The colors are a yellow background and browns, greens, oranges and grey/purple in the countryside type painting. The shape of the bowl is unusual and the edge of the bowl with its open handle design, has a line of raised dots of paint all around the edge. This is a MUST HAVE, ...
