Beautiful dark blue Jasperware Wedgwood creamer. Impressed Wedgwood mark with a "D" "V" and the number 42. it is 4" high and 2 5/8" in diameter at the base. This creamer dates to before1890.

The handle has a twisted detail. Creamer is completely hand turned. There is some dis-colorization on the inside, and some very minor "flea bites" around the top and the base. But, absolutely no cracks, chips, nor repairs. All original.

Made from translucent clay that marries the basalt & Josiah Wedgwood's original formula to produce a dense, homogeneously colored stoneware. The white relief is a classical Greek design with grapes and leaves, which enhance this unglazed pieces for it's beauty.

This piece will ship priority mail and INCLUDE insurance for $7.50
