Beautifully hand craved shell cameo with lovely filigree bezel set mounting. Gold is 10K gold. Cameo is Circa 1890 to 1910. One of the reasons is that it is easy to date this cameo, is that ladies were heavier then, chubby was "in" at that time. Wish it was now..........

It can be used as a pendant or a brooch. It has a locking pin mechanism. It is 2: high by 1 5/8" wide. Shell cameo is absolutely perfect, no chips, cracks, breaks, nor repairs.

She has grapes and grape leaves in and around her head and shoulders. Very three dimensional look. Maybe she is the goddess of grapes, or wine! Anyway, she is very lovely.
