This is a beautiful vintage wedding dress circa 1940s-1950s. Slipper satin -- lots of fabric here to make doll dresses! The dress would be appropriate for display. If you wish to wear the dress, it will need to be properly cleaned, as there are a few smudges and faint stains along the train.Someone has let out the seams along the bodice--I imagine for a better fit. I'd say the seams have been let out about 1/2" with the original stitches barely visible. Very pretty detailing such as the satin covered buttons, the heavily pleated hemline and bodice. Long sleeves have 8 satin covered buttons and measure 24" long. The back has 8 satin covered buttons and there is a side metal zipper. Bust measures 31" , waist 27", length in front is 59" and the train out the back measures 75" from shoulder. A pretty dress--we've priced it for its value as fabric only. It is a heavy dress and will probably cost about $14.95 or more to ship domestically. International costs will be more.
