What an exquisite early silk bonnet! Perfectly wonderful for a Jumeau, Steiner, FG, or Bru bebe ! One of the best we've seen! Silk bonnet is in original and fantastic condition with tender little "glossy pinstripes" and an abundance of delightful ruching! Original crinoline lining! Certainly factory or couture! Multi tiers of tiny ruffles in front frame dolly's face and their in an intricate flat braid which travels from one side, up over the top, to the other side. This is silk and there are 2 gaps where it has disappeared, but overall lovely. A stunning silk floss embellished fine and ornate metallic trim meanders along the same line, and transforming into circular discs or "buds" for a distinctly high fashion appearance. Just a hint of fraying to the layers of silk ruffles on top. You will love this bonnet! Perfect for an extraordinary French bebe! It measures 20" around.
