This is a wonderful French cap, just perfect for a large Jumeau or French bebe! It is factory made and dates from the 19th century. Very elaborate, it is embellished with intricate layers of lace and accented with a band of aqua silk ribbon and two large rosettes at each side. There is some soiling inside along the band and a few stains on the top--please take a look at all my photos. But overall, it is remarkable and just perfect for a doll! The circumference around is about 22".
