This is a wonderful 19th century bonnet in an early turkey red. This color is popular with early dolls and with bisque French and German dolls. Silk, accented with three tiers of silk ribbon ruffles. One tie has lost some of it's length, but the other tie is intact. Lined in ivory silk. Aside from a teeny hint of melting on top just peeking through, the condition is lovely. This measures about 20" around. A great bonnet!
