A wonderful large flirty eyed model made by the K Star R doll company (Kammer and Reinhardt /Simon and Halbig). Fully incised on the back of her bisque head. Lovely bisque with teeny faint pepper spot hidden near the side of her coral colored painted lips, painted upper and lower lashes with real hair lashes, painted brows, rose blushed cheeks, open mouth with upper teeth. Pierced ears. Incised W on the forehead near crown. Minor firing line behind one ear, made in the making of the doll and very, very minor. Jointed composition body with original finish, some to paint touch up on the back of one upper arm and one knee. Layers of antique underclothing, reproduction socks made from antique fabric, antique black velvet shoes . Dressed in an outstanding antique dress with beautiful detailing such as the elaborate dress front with tiny tucks and lace accents. A full blouson bodice accented with a length of ivory antique silk ribbon tied in a large bow, ribbon is very fragile and starting to melt, but still adds just the right touch! You may want to replace it at some point. She looks like she has been made for the French market! Sleeves are ribbon accented and the collar has lace. The antique dress has a lace embellished fitted waist and a fully gathered skirt embellished with wide elaborate lace. Pin closure in back. Pierced ears . Original chocolate brown human hair wig in long ringlets with antique pate. Chocolate brown sleep eyes which glance right, left and straight on, depending how her head is moved and tilted, making this particular model of the K Star R company very desirable to collectors and an enchanting doll! Her flirty eyes can rotate from side to side as one turn her head from side to side. Truly charming! She stands an impressive 24" tall. Absolutely cabinet ready and so adorable!
