Satin Crib Coverlet and Embroidered Sham Mint in Box

This is a fabulous little crib set for a baby circa 1940s and in excellent, unused condition. It is still in its original box (the box does show some wear and breakage at the corners), and appears to have been folded and stored for decades. Everything is as clean and bright as the day it was made--no stains, no wear. I believe this is rayon satin--very soft and slick, in a peachy pink color. Embroidery on the coverlet depicts flowers and a swan .There is a wide ruffle which encircles the perimeter and the top is meant to fold down over part of the coverlet. 25" X 31" if you fold this portion down. The matching sham also has a ruffle and measures 18" X 15". A very lovely set! Perfect for gift giving! (I'd toss the box and put it in a shirt box if you are planning on giving this as a gift). The box reads Wickel's Logan, Utah.
