c. 1890 - 1910 A lovely ice blue satin 2 piece dress with embroidered trim. The sleeveless top of this dress is a separate piece that goes over the gauze fabric top of the under dress (with attaches to the satin skirt). The long sleeves are attached to the gauze portion. The gauze extends down for a skirt lining. The edge of the sleeveless top is trimmed with black velvet and the dress is edged with black feather stitched accents and an embroidered flower at the neck. The dress closes in the back with snaps. There is some wear and age soiling mostly to the sleeves. Approximate measurements: Neck to hem: 10 1/2" Sleeve - shoulder to cuff: 4 3/4" Across shoulders seam to seam: 4 1/4" It is wide across the waist, almost like an A-line dress. Sleeve openings: about 2 1/2" Probably best for a 17-18" leather body doll since the sleeve openings are not that large. The dress form is for display only.
