Vintage 8.5" 1926 Green McCoy Stoneware Tankard W/Grapes

This is a great 1926 Green Stoneware tankard made by the Nelson McCoy Sanitary Stoneware Company. It is unmarked, and listed in the McCoy Pottery books. It measures 8.5" tall and 4" across, the opposite direction of the spout. It has a molded grape and leaf motif on both sides. It is highly decorated with molded bands on the top and the bottom of the tankard. The celery color of this tankard is spectacular, what a great old primitive! I've displayed it with one of my old quilts which isn't included in this sale.

Condition: There are two chip on the inside of the lip. They do not show on the outside. The bottom of the tankard has 2 chips that are smaller in size. The edging is rough on the bottom. It has the usual pottery bubbles and bursts common to stoneware.
