1930's Large Green Stoneware Covered Bowl Casserole Dish

This is a great vintage 1930's green unmarked covered stoneware bowl. It measures 4 1/2" tall and 9 3/4" across. It is decorated with molded bandings around both the bowl and the lid. The bright green color of this bowl is amazing, what a great old primitive! It is quite heavy. I've displayed it with one of my old quilts which isn't included in this sale.

Condition: The edging is rough on the top of the bowl, with a few knicks to the unpainted stonewear rim. There is one small chip on the inner unpainted stoneware rim. The inside and outside of the bowl and lid has crazing, pottery bubbles, and bursts common to stoneware. The bottom of the bowl has factory painted over flaws. The edging is rough on the knob of the lid, and has a few tiny knicks, and one chip.
