These superb Antique Very Early (Circa 1800) set of eight Worcester beautiful floral plates were made by Thomas Grainger of Worcester..

Thomas Grainger Co.were very skilled potters of the early 1800's who produced ornamental wares of excellent quality, specializing in wonderful floral bouquets of lovely rich colors in the form of overarching or abundant bowers of flowers. .

These lovely plates are wonderfully decorated with a fluted edged band of gilt, each one slightly different yet certainly matching in pattern for a set of eight.

Size; 9.9" Diameter. ...they are beautiful floral bouquets ready for service or for display on a sideboard or that very special china cabinet..

Condition; Excellent, no breaks, chips or repair

Marks: painted marks in blue,

(Very early mark;1801 to 1860), "Grainger Lee or L & Co, Worcester"
