Circa 1832 Hand Colored English Botanical Engraving

This beautifully executed engraving dated 1832 is one of a series of three from the 1800's, it is a very fine example of "early botanicals", very delicate, of gentle composition and coloring with very scholarly renderings.

It has been double matted and set in a hand- colored and antiqued gold tone wood frame again, very much in keeping with the style of Circa 1800 drawings.

This Botanical is beautifully illustrated with dates and folio numbers clearly marked. On the back of the frame is the Certificate of Authenticity which certifies...London Circa 1832.

Condition excellent.
