The interior of the bowls and scalloped underplates have the majolica raised floral detail, which is coveted by many majolica collectors.
They are all Victorian Italian majolica, white faience tin glaze, marked with the number 233 in blue on the bowls, and number 309 in blue on the underplates.
All are marked "Made in Italy" in blue, which dates these lovely pieces after Circa 1891 or Victorian.
Bowls; 4 3/4" Diameter x 2 1/4" Height.
Wonderful to use for special occasions or for display in a lovely China Cabinet.
The plates are 6 1/4" diameter.
Condition ; excellent: no chips or cracks. Some minor crazing, consistent with pieces of this vintage.
