This very large and ornate Dutch serving spoon possessing superb workmanship is from the1900's It is overflowing with exquisite master engraving and highly decorated work that shows the rococo influences of a writhing ,curling style.

A highly detailed Dutch scene is featured on both the large bowl and handle,.with pierced and engraved leafy branches floral scrolls and other decorative motifs.

A very special treasure to own or to give as a wedding or anniversary present.

Condition: mint.

Marks; hallmarked with a lion passant indicating 0.833 silver, with the date mark L (1921).

Maker's mark: ZZ with a hammer.
