The Hand-Painted Porcelain set is complete with a very lovely pair of of brass and porcelain candlesticks, a superb ink stand in porcelain and ornately detailed brass , a brass letter opener and a brass footed pen rest with a floral porcelain interior. The lovely floral pattern is in shades of dusty rose and green with gilt accents on a soft cream porcelain background.

This exquisite set is a excellent example of the very fine work of Miklos Zsolnay of the Zsolnoy factory of Hungary Circa 1800-1880.

The pen tray has impressed marks-letter Y and number 2 , a handwritten number 2, and glyph.

Pen tray; 8 1/4" length x 3",tall

Pair of Candlesticks; 7 3/4" tall x 4" at collar width

Condition: excellent ; one candlestick has a slight bruise at the collar , the inkwell's porcelain insert has a small repair, commensurate with a lovely set circa 1800

. This very, very special set would make a beautiful accent on a desk or a side table.
