This Spectacular, Rare and Beautiful antique set of 12 Hand- Painted Pink with Gold Royal Doulton service plates signed by the artist S. Hall are truly exceptional treasures. We have not seen a full set of twelve signed cabinet plates of this superb quality in a very long time.

Each plates' centre is a truly exquisite painting showing a named British castle in a meticulously detailed landscape setting. Surrounding each central castle scene there is a large pink border with elaborately raised gold scroll work and beading that stands out against the wonderful pink luster glaze.

The exceptional hand painting of each of these plates is so very difficult to describe as they have been very finely detailed and painted by an expert hand. Please do view each of these exquisite plates and see their beauty for yourself.

In April of 2004, just a single plate " Harlech Castle" sold for 900 pounds sterling.

Each plate is marked averso with the Royal Doulton backstamp, printed marks, castle name in script and date codes.

Unfortunately, space limitations prevent us from showing all twelve, however, if you would like to view all twelve kindly e- mail us and we will be happy to e-mail this beautiful collection to you.

The "Castles" are:"Ardencapel", "Arundel", "Dover", "Dunolly", "Harlech", "Havenfordwest", "Hurstmonceaux", "Kenilworth", "Rhuddlan "Richmond"," Warwick", and of course "Windsor".

This is a great opportunity to acquire this exceptionally rare set. They are to be long cherished by the connoisseur and of course without question, exquisite to display.

Size: 10 1/2" diameter

Condition of all are Mint... there are no chips, cracks or repairs. Unsurpassed.
