A Stunning and Exquisite Hand - Painted and Hand- Decorated pair of Old Paris Porcelain vases of the Second Empire possessing a wonderfully rich Green color with flared gilded rims and wide gilded bases. Each bears a superb painting framed by a wonderful gilded cartouche.

Old Paris Porcelain, or Vieux Paris, refers to a hard paste porcelain that was produced in Paris Circa (1770- 1870). This porcelain was produced at some of the very well known of the Paris workshops... Dagoty, Darte Freres, Honare, and Jacob Petite. There was a need to produce artistically lavish pieces to meet the demand of the constantly changing fashion of the time, thus these wonderful vases were produced.

Old Paris, Vieux Paris pieces became highly collectable were displayed in many of the fashionable homes in North America and have become a favorite of collectors today.

These exceptional vases highly gilded and lavishly painted are in excellent condition with little or no wear... EXQUISITE!
