19th century German Art Nouveau Vase Magnificent

This is a very good example of German Art Nouveau pottery. Decorated in a familiar abstract pattern it's a clear expression of the modernist school. The theme is a depiction of the "women -flower" so universally regarded as the hallmark of the new art.

A rich glossy glaze bathes wonderfully painted shades of soft peach, yellow, mauve, and multi shades of green finally arriving at it's frill neck painted in teal. Magnificent! A fabulous find for the Art Nouveau collector.

Marked: Royal Bonn, "Old Dutch", D.175, Germany, 5028, 11.

Size: 8 3/4" tall, 4 1/8" diameter

Condition: very minor bruise in the glaze, and a spot that has been painted some minor crazing, condition consistent with a piece of this vintage.
