Yellowware 2 Part Reclining Lamb Butter Mold Yellow Ware Pottery

Offered here is this fabulous yelloware stoneware pottery butter mold in the shape of a reclining lamb. The mold is made from two yellowware pieces which are held together. At the moment they are held together with simple twist ties so it's easily taken apart for display purposes. It has 4 feet which it rests on when turned upside down while the butter is hardening to form the mold of the lamb. The only marking that I am able to find is a number 14 stamped into the front. The mold is in excellent condition and is free from any chips, cracks, crazing, or damage. It measures 3 1/2" high X 7" long. It would make a perfect addition to any collection. A very unique kitchenware item from the past!
